The Broken Spine Artist Collective: Fifth Edition is now available for pre-order. For this edition we employed Birmingham Poet Laureate Casey Bailey as Guest Reader continuning our ethos of diversity.

This edition is inclusive of poetry and photography and is the first post-COVID-19 pandemic anthology we have worked on. It was born in Southport, United Kingdom and it is, as always, an all-inclusive, open-minded journal looking to discover and promote ALL voices from ALL backgrounds.

Featuring local, national and international artists, the fifth edition of this acclaimed journal, which was co-founded by former school friends Paul Robert Mullen and Alan Parry, features contributions from new and established artists from the world over.

The issue includes work by Katie Jenkins, Laurie Bolger, Lesley James, and others. The cover art is the work of Victor Hugo Cardoso and is perhaps our most striking yet!
