The first edition of The Broken Spine Artist Collective is now available for purchase. The Broken Spine Artist Collective: First Edition is an all inclusive poetry, photography and art journal born in Southport, United Kingdom.

Promoting artists both local, national and international, the first issue, co-founded and edited by Paul Robert Mullen and Alan Parry, features over 40 artists from a vast range of eclectic regions of the UK, and countries as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Canada and the US.

Highlights include poets of the issue, Jennifer Ruddock and Kate LeDew, who feature with two poems apiece, and work from renowned poets Robert Sheppard, Kate Evans, Elisabeth Horan and Stuart Buck. The cover art is the work of super talented Christopher Marsh, and photographers include Robert Kirby, Brian Sayle and Graham Smillie.
