#Review: Death Drop – Back in the Habit

It was unashamedly outrageous, funny and highly entertaining!

The smash-hit sold-out killer comedy Death Drop didn’t disappoint a sold out audience at the Playhouse Theatre, Liverpool on a cold Tuesday night  The cast featured the comedic talents of: Kitty Scott-Claus, JuJuBee, Cheryl Hole, LoUis CYfer, River Medway, Victoria Scone and Victor in a two hours of of good quality entertainment which was jammed to the rafters with hilariously one liners and double entendres.

Rob Evans (Director) and Jesse Jones (Producer) took the audience on sinister goings on at The Convent of St. Babs.  The play had a clear plot and the narrative journey was clear affording you the luxury of just appreciating the play for what it was – lighthearted, entertaining escapism!

The set design of an eerie convent, which was a prominent fixture on stage throughout the performance, was elaborate and ensured that the scenes were believable.and fitting.  The costumes, whilst brow raising, also fitted the actors/characters personalities and supported the play’s narrative.

Overall it was a heavenly dose of fun that is much needed in these turbulent times. The   laughs simply kept on coming in this nun-missable murder mystery.
