Get a Sneak Peek of Olly Murs’ ‘Marry Me’ Tour: A #Preview of His Highly Anticipated Comeback

The lovable national treasure and star of the swivelly red chair, The VoiceOlly Murs, who burst onto the music scene in 2009 following being runner up in X Factor has announced a new tour entitled Marry Me. Due to popular demand he has added a new dates to his tour with one at Livepool’s M&S Arena on 22nd August 2023.

The loved up singer songwriter and pop crooner (who has shattered the beating hearts of so many) was inspired to name his new album and tour after finding true and lasting love with his fiancee, Amelia Tank.

Whilst  the singer, songwriter and solid-gold pop star has been all over our screens in recent weeks and months promoting his album which came out on 1st Dec 2022 he has also been front and centre stage as host of ITV’s Starstruck, helping the public make realise their musical dreams, with wing-persons assistance from the likes of Shania Twain, Ronan Keating and Beverley Knight. But in the musical artist world – the world that forged him, and where he burnished the creative credentials – Murs has been off the radar for over four years. So this is a much anticipated tour and one with high expectations from his beloved and hardcore fans.

For a musician who had four Number One singles and four Number One albums in a near-back-to-back run after bursting onto the scene with his double-platinum self-titled debut in 2010, that’s a big gap.But as he matter-of-factly admits, after the release of 2018’s sixth album You Know I Know (a double that was half greatest hits, half new tracks) he needed a rest. And a reset. The result is Olly Murs’ most consistent, most ambitious, punchiest, poppiest – and, in places, proudly soppiest – album yet.
