Taking place in the enchanting liminal space between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, we invite you to dust off those jeans, add a splash of lippy, and head into town for an evening hosted by Alan Parry, our founding editor.
Alan Parry will not only serve as our master of ceremonies, but will also read from his newest collection, Twenty Seven, a soulful homage to Jim Morrison.
But that’s not all! Paul Robert Mullen, the co-founder of The Broken Spine, is set to assemble an all-star band for a musical escapade you won’t forget. And we’ve got Ian Riley of Chainsaw Haircut fame who will unleash a wicked set of classic tracks.
The evening will be a beacon for local poets and musicians alike, featuring an Open Mic segment. Here’s your chance to share your creative expressions in a setting that respects and honors artistic integrity.
Joining this powerhouse line-up is Rebecca Kenny, a close friend of The Broken Spine and a revered performance poet. The founding editor of Bent Key Publishing, Rebecca will reunite with Alan Parry for an engaging and inspiring performance.
