On Monday, January 13th, we’re kicking off something big: #LiftToTheSky, a weekly tradition where poets lift each other higher by sharing work, celebrating voices, and making Mondays the most inspiring day of the week.

How to Participate in #LiftToTheSky

Here’s exactly what to do each week to join #LiftToTheSky:

1. Pick One Poet
   • Choose a writer who has inspired you: a book you loved over Christmas, a poem from our #PoemsAbout initiative, or someone whose voice deserves more attention.
2. Share Their Work
   • Be creative and intentional:
     • Post a graphic inspired by their poetry.
     • Share a link to their book, blog, or website.
     • Highlight a quote that moved you.
     • Write a thoughtful review or reflection.
3. Say Something Positive
   • Be specific: What makes their work special? Why should others read them?
4. Tag and Hashtag
   • Tag the poet (if they’re on Bluesky).
   • Tag @brokenspinearts.bsky.social so we can amplify your post.
   • Use the hashtag #LiftToTheSky to join the conversation.
