My name is Paul Robert Mullen, and I’m a writer, musician, traveller and lecturer. My lifelong fascination with music has only intensified with age, and I spend many happy hours revelling in my vast collection of vinyl and CDs. I play in a variety of bands spanning several genres – blues, jazz, singer-songwriter, rock and folk, so I am always hunting for new sounds, new experiences and new artists. Discovering new music is a great pleasure of mine since there is too much music out there to cover in one lifetime. Despite my obsession with the past masters of the 60s and 70s, this playlist spans relatively modern recordings that I’ve discovered in the last few years.
