Description
Twenty Seven: A collection of poetry dedicated to Jim Morrison on the 80th anniversary of his birth is a collection of 27 poems that are inspired by the life and work of Jim Morrison.
Parry uses the vistas, themes, motifs, and sexuality of The Doors’ legendary late frontman to reimagine them after a passage of time and changing landscapes. Morrison himself was a more than a singer; he was a key figure in the sub-culture movement of the sixties and wrote several collections of poetry.
As a young man, Parry was drawn to his work and has been a lifelong fan. This collection of poetry is his reaction and celebration of his first literary hero.
