Poem from issue #1 of The Broken Spine Artist Collective

Mary Earnshaw lives between England’s north-west coast and the Lancashire mosslands. Inspired by the natural world, physics and the cosmos, she is also a keen observer of human behaviour. Her poetry can be found in Black Bough’s two Deep Time anthologies and in Visual Verse, as well as Broken Spine. Mary has recently begun publishing a series of letterpress-printed short stories and is the author of a crime fiction novel set in Zambia, where she often spends time with her archaeologist husband.
