Mary Earnshaw is a northener by both birth and temperament. Mary Earnshaw started out as a journalist and has written for her living, in one form or another, ever since. Mary has self-published a crime fiction novel set in Zambia and a letterpress-printed retelling of The Little Match Girl story. She has been longlisted for the Mslexia first novel award (2017) and twice published in Visual Verse. Nature is often her inspiration and she is delighted to be the blogger in residence for Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s Mere Sands Wood Nature reserve, beginning in winter 2019.
