Introducing BOLD: An Anthology of Masculinity Themed Creative Writing – Online Zoom Launch Recording!
On April 15th, a group of talented writers gathered virtually on Zoom for the online launch of BOLD: An Anthology of Masculinity Themed Creative Writing. The launch lasted almost three hours and featured readings from both the contributors and open mic readers.
Hosted by EiC Alan Parry, the launch was a celebration of the diverse and thought-provoking pieces of writing that make up the anthology. Among the contributors were David Garbutt, Glenn Barker, Kate Dowling, Helen Laycock, David Hay, Damien Posterino, Barney Ashton Bullock, Lee Potts, Matt Gilbert, Matthew M. C. Smith, Lesley James, and Steve Harrison.
The open mic section of the event provided a platform for emerging writers to share their work with the audience. Readers included Jude Marr, Julian Day, Nejra Cehic, Michael Dench and George Bastow, whose contributions added to the richness of the event.
