After a record-breaking 2022 festive season, tickets are now on sale for a Christmas full of sparkle with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto Cinderella at the Everyman from Friday 17th November to Saturday 20th January.
Cinderella’s, Creative Director Suba Das once again leads a brilliant team for the legendary Everyman Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto.
This is an event that is a firm favourite in not only my family’s calendar but for family across Merseyside and beyond!
This year welcomes the return of Rob Green as Musical Director, nominated in the UK Pantomime Awards for Best Contribution to Music for last year’s Red Riding Hood. It will be written by two phenomenally talented North West writers: Luke Barnes (whose credits include All We Ever Wanted Was Everything at the Bush, Bottleneck at Soho, and shows for the Young Vic, Hampstead Theatre, Leeds Playhouse, Middle Child, Manchester Royal Exchange, the Almeida, Hull Truck and National Theatre Connections, as well as a national tour of Cinderella with Not Too Tame theatre); and Sonia Jalaly (a member of BBC Writersroom Comedy Room, who’s since written for CBBC and CBeebies, and theatres including Kiln, Donmar Warehouse and Hull Truck, as well as co-writing last year’s panto for The Lyric Hammersmith).
Bursting with banging pop and rock tunes, Cinderella is a show that will have you singing and dancing along, no matter what your age. With heaps of sass, silliness and sparkle, the awesomely talented actor/musicians will bring the classic fairy tale to life in surprising style.
