Midge Ure Rewrites the Rulebook with A Man Of Two Worlds Tour – A Cinematic Retelling of a Legendary Career

Midge Ure doesn’t coast. At 71, he’s not looking back, he’s digging deeper. His 2026 A Man Of Two Worlds UK tour is no greatest hits cruise. It’s a high-concept, high-emotion live experience that blends his fan-favourite tracks with the ambient, cinematic instrumentals that have quietly shaped his albums for over four decades.

“These are the two worlds I’ve always lived in,” Ure says. And for the first time, they’re sharing the stage. The result? A seamless set that flows like a film score, familiar classics threaded together by previously unperformed instrumental gems. This is music as narrative, not nostalgia.

Forget rote retrospectives. Ure’s aiming for something immersive and layered. After packing out the Royal Albert Hall for his 70th and touring the UK in 2024, he’s now flipping expectations again. Tracks from Ultravox, Visage, and his solo years will be recontextualised, reimagined, and wrapped in atmosphere.

This isn’t just for the die-hards. It’s for anyone who wants to see an artist pushing his own boundaries after 40+ years in the game. From glam rock with Slik to punk energy with The Rich Kids, from synthpop royalty to co-creating “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” and Live Aid, Ure’s fingerprints are all over modern music. Now he’s turning that legacy into something cinematic and raw.

A bold new chapter from one of the UK’s most pioneering musical forces
